Just dropped Episode 4. For some reason I felt inspired to give my case for why working at a small or midsized company is so much better than working for a large (or very large) company.
I explain the organizational structure of a midsized company (less than $100M in revenues, <750 employees or so), and how you get such clarity into goals. I contrast that with working for a very large company (>$1B, >5000 employees) and all of the disfunctions that almost inevitably ensue.
I talk about the process of being bought by either a strategic (a big company) or by a financial investor (typically as Private Equity firm via a leveraged buyout), and give some of the disfunctions that happen along the way.
I, of course and in character, give several amusing anecdotes from my big company experiences.
